The Growler

This synth is based on Pete McBennett’s LDR Mini-Synth (aka the Moog-Style LDR Synth) and is basically a pulse width modulated oscillator routed through a light-controlled resonant low pass filter controlled by two LDR, which give the synth a rich ‘growling’ tone and amazing expression.

This particular version runs on five LM358 op amps and has a delay unit but discards the hex inverter drones from the original.
