Heraldo delay unit

The Heraldo telephone was introduced in 1961 by CITESA and Telefónica and it was the first modern telephone for most households in Spain. This device broke away from the classic, boring black Bakelite design and became a popular icon thanks to its bright colours and sleek shape.

Fast forward 65 years and we can still use, recycle and transform these sturdy devices. This one is now transformed into a stutter/delay desktop pedal effect that has a kill switch that lets you use the built in microphone for your lo-fi speeches. The rotary dial controls the stutter effect and the delay uses the infamous pt2399 chip that echoes into feedback territory.
